Alice Mittens: Intermediate Colorwork
October 27th, 1-4pm
Ready to take your colorwork to the next level? Mittens are the perfect next step! In this class we will explore working multiple charts across a row, shaping, and of course there will be much discussion on tension and color dominance! The Alice Mittens pattern by Diana Walla is written for a DK weight yarn, so we will whip these up in no time!
Recommended yarn: Brooklyn Tweed Arbor
Homework: cast on and knit cuff, be ready to start the colorwork charts.
- Two skeins of DK weight yarn ( recommending Arbor)
- US 4 and 5 in your preferred method of knitting in the round: DPNs, two circulars, or one long circular for Magic Loop
- Stitch markers
